I like using the light medium dark colours to make the eyes and beak but I didn't like the gluing because it took forever for me.

Coded Hundred Square

Coded hundred square.

This is my coded hundred square.

We needed to figure out the what the codes mean and then we stuck them on the hundreds board. We were trying to find out what the codes mean so we could glue them on to the hundreds board. I used the strategy of finding the hundred first because I thought it would be the easiest thing to find because it is the only one with three symbols. I also used the strategy of finding 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and nine because then I would know what all of the symbols mean. Finding the symbols was hard at first but then once I found out what all the codes meant it got easier for me.

Measuring Weight

My Biggest area I improved on was measuring things. I am most proud of my effort because some of it was hard but I still got it done. I would like to improve on adding things together to find the weight.

The Teasmaid

My biggest area I improved on was finding other words within one word. I am most proud of my effort because I did really good with my reading activity and I found out what a civil emergency was. I would like to improve on getting more done.

My Narrative Writing

My biggest area I improved on was writing my own story that I thought up. I am most proud of my effort because I did really good and I have never made my own narrative story. I would like to improve on getting more writing done in the time I get to do it.

We have been learning to solve big number problems. My biggest area I improved on is showing how I did my work. I am most proud of my effort because some of my questions were challenging but I got through them really quickly.

My biggest area I improved on was working with a partner. I am most proud of my effort because I worked together with my partner and we worked together to make new ideas. I would like to improve on making more pictures because we didn't get many done.
