Care for you Chromebooks

 

This is a poster about the Kawa of Care, which is all about looking after our chrome books. I have made this to show people some things that will give you a helping hand with this. I used a free poster-making website called Canva to make this. Do you have any advice on looking after a Chromebook?

Today for Cyber Smart we had to colour in a picture and then compare it to the original picture. Mine looked like this. 

I chose blue for the sky because it looked like a stormy night and stormy nights usually have dark skies. My favourite is the colour blue so that's why I changed some colours to blue.  

FAKE VS REAL Animation!

This is my animation I have made for cybersmart. I had to make an animation where something real turns into something fake. I thought this was really fun because it was something I had never done before. Have you done an animation like this before? Hope You Like My ANIMATION!

Rocket Launch Challenge

A few days ago we went on a rocket launching website.
On it you could adjust your fuel, your burn, and your thrust.
You could turn drag and mass change on and off.
You had to make it just the right amount so you could launch a satellite.

I learned that rockets don’t need lots of fuel or thrust to make it up high and if you give it too much thrust it could blow up.   

I had to use my problem solving skills to make sure I had the right amount of thrust, burn and fuel to launch the satellite.

This was a really fun project to do. Have you ever used this website before?

 We had to do some research on the Coast to Coast website. Once we found some facts we put them on a colourful slide like this! I learnt that you have to be really fit to do the Coast to Coast. Transformation Using Grids

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image. 
I found the first one hard.
I chose the image of the Koru because I didn’t do the tree.
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process?👍

My Dragon

Today Mrs Minehan talked to us about the images we use off the internet. We learnt that it is best to create our own, so she showed us how to download an image from the Explore tool onto Google Drawing and then we made it our own by using the Polyline line tool to draw over it and colour it in. It was so much fun. Have you ever made your own images like this?
