My Anzac Biscuits!

These are some photos of me making and finishing my Anzac Biscuits! They were really fun and easy to make and they tasted awesome. Have you baked anything while in lockdown or made some Anzac themed things?

  1. Hi Liam. Yes, I have also done some baking, like you have, while we are in lockdown. I made Anzac biscuits a few days ago. I made mine quite crunchy. What texture did yours come out like? Have you ever heard about how and when the first Anzac biscuits were made? Did the people who made them use the same ingredients use the same or similar ingredients to what you used? You might like to do a little bit of research and add this to your blogpost.
I am sure your biscuits have been gobbled up by now. I know that my supply is getting pretty low!

  2. Hi Liam
You ANZAC biscuits look great. I made some yesterday too, and they are very tasty. The problem we have is that they get eaten very quicklly in our house so I think I will have to make some more. Like Mrs Phelps commented, the history behind the ANZAC biscuits is very interesting, I hope you get change to find out a bit more about them.

  3. Kia ora Liam,
Yum, those ANZAC biscuits look absolutely delicious!
ANZAC biscuits are one of my favourite treats, although I don’t make them nearly enough. I really like the flavour of both the oats and the golden syrup, and specifically like the biscuits when they are super chewy and melt in your mouth. I haven’t made ANZAC biscuits in a long time, however after seeing all of the posts about these yummy biscuits I might have to have a go and make some myself!
It was an awesome idea for you to have included the images of you baking. You look so focused and determined while baking, and exceedingly proud of yourself with your finished result.
What was the hardest part of making these biscuits?
How many biscuits did you make out of the batch?
    What did they taste like?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
I noticed in your image how you are pouring something yellow/orange into your mixing bowl.
    What exactly is this?
I also noticed how you have lots of different measuring utensils on the bench.
Was it difficult to measure all of the ingredients?
Biscuits/cookies are one of my favourite things to make, and only the other day I made a big batch of cookie dough and split it into three sections so I could make different kinds of cookies. The types of cookies I made were regular chocolate chip, dark chocolate chip, and peanut butter, although they definitely didn’t look as yummy as yours!
    Keep blogging!
