My Term 2 Work

The most fun thing we did in Term 2 was our Piwakawaka art. I learnt a lot of different things and I also learnt how to do CPR. I felt awesome when I was learning all of this new stuff with Mrs Swinburn and my classmates. This term has been awesome because I have learnt lots of new things with my Teacher and my classmates.

My Dragon

Today Mrs Minehan talked to us about the images we use off the internet. We learnt that it is best to create our own, so she showed us how to download an image from the Explore tool onto Google Drawing and then we made it our own by using the Polyline line tool to draw over it and colour it in. It was so much fun. Have you ever made your own images like this?

Autumn Leaf

Today we made an Autumn Leaf Suncatcher in Ruma Piwakawaka with Mrs Minehan. It was really fun because we got to paint with lots of paint and we also got to go outside and find some leafs to put on it and that was really fun. Have you ever done an experiment like this before. Science Experiments

Today we did some science with Mrs Minehan. We got 3 white flowers and we put them in cups of water and then we put 6 drops of food colouring in the cups with the flowers in them. After a couple of days they started to change the tiniest bit. They weren't changing enough so Mrs Swinburn put in some more food colouring in the cups. After that it started to change a lot. The reason why the flowers changed colours is because the food colouring got sucked up the stems and then that changed the petal colours. I want to know in the comments if you have ever done an experiment like this?

Ruma Piwakwaka Term One

This is a slide about what Ruma Piwakawaka have done this term. I think I have improved on rippa, batting and fielding. I think I could have done better with Mrs Mineham because my background for my blog has to much black in it. I think I did really good at hockey because I learnt lots of new hockey skills.

Peer Mediation 2

I think I could have done better because I didn't do as much writing as last time. It was really fun doing peer mediation again with Mrs Zuckerman and I am looking forward to doing it with her again. I learnt all about peer mediators and I also learned that conflict can't always be bad. Conflict can strengthen a relationship if you manage to figure the problem out.

Our Rugby Trophies

This is all about me and my friends hard earned rugby trophies from last year. They were really hard to earn but we still managed to reach our goals and accomplish them. It was really hard to get but it was also really fun.
