Kereru, Experts in Clued Up Kids

 On Friday the year, 5-6's went to the Boys Brigade Hall to do Clued Up Kids. Clued Up Kids is an event you can go to where you learn all about safety and other things. There were 8 different workstations. There was 1 about trains, 1 about animals, 1 about motorbikes, and much more. We learned about how to be safe using or being around different things. I liked it because it was different from what I usually do. I also found it fun because I got to do a dark maze with the fire brigade and I got to pat a horse with the animal safety. We also learned about search and rescue and I decided that when I'm older I might volunteer for it. Have you ever been to the Clued Up Kids?

We got given a poster that we had to Colour in. We had to leave no white because our teacher hates white. My favourite sport is basketball and my favourite food is seafood. I would rather have seafood than icecream, I like it that much! My favourite book is Alex Rider it is about a teenage spy who works for MI6. What are all of your favourite things?

Care for you Chromebooks

All About Me

This is a slide I have made all about me. I made this slide because so everyone would know different things about me. I really like basketball as you can probably already tell. I also like mountain biking and I have just bought myself a new mountain bike. What are you likes and dislikes?

Today for Cyber Smart we had to colour in a picture and then compare it to the original picture. Mine looked like this. 

I chose blue for the sky because it looked like a stormy night and stormy nights usually have dark skies. My favourite is the colour blue so that's why I changed some colours to blue.  

Angles Take Over!

 

We have been learning how to measure angles with and without a protractor. It was really fun learning about angles because we got to play lots of different angle games while learning about it. My favourite game was a game where you had to aim a tank turret in the right angles to hit the other tank. Have you played any angle games before?
